Welcome Back Kotter

Well readers it's nice to be back after a rather long and unintended hiatus. Between my computer crashing, the New York State Bar Association's Annual Meeting in Mid-town last week and some ongoing confusion with the United States Citizen and Immigration Service (USCIS) (formerly the INS), I've had little time in recent weeks to comment on matters that I'm simply curious about. With that said, I'm happy to be back with you.

Programming Note: Regarding my recent adventures with USCIS, this will be the topic of an "epic" post sometime later this week. Continue to check your local listings for showtimes.

Anyway, I'm pretty nakered tonight, so all I can do is share with you photos of two moderately famous people I saw last week while at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in mid-town. (I suppose it's obvious that I'm really not a New Yorker because "true" New Yorkers could hardly give a damn when they see famous people. Nevertheless, it's still a novelty for me as amateurish as it may be.)

Can you identify these famous people?

This second individual wasn't actually at the hotel, but was spotted at the TGIFriday's across the street at lunch on Thursday.

Finally tonight, for those of you who may not know what ever happened to Gabe Kaplan in recent years, star of the ABC sitcom "Welcome Back Kotter," you may catch yourself up to speed by clicking here.
